How To Apply: 1. Applications should be made in the prescribed format only. No other format of application shall be accepted. 2. Candidates fulfilling the eligibility criteria need to apply only. Candidates are requested to ensure that the information furnished by them is correct and based on facts. 3. Candidature of the applicant shall remain provisional till detailed scrutiny is undertaken and found to be eligible in all respect. The decision of the Authority of the Institute in deciding the eligibility of the applicant is final and the authority has the right to accept/ reject any or all applications. 4. Completed application along with documents mentioned above should be submitted to the Director, Institute of Physics, P:O: Sainik School, Bhubaneswar – 751005, superscribing the post applied for, so as to reach within the stipulated last date of application. Postal delay in any form shall not be entertained and candidates are advised to apply well in advance to avoid such. Applications sent by speed post/ courier service only will be accepted. 5. Two nos. of recent coloured passport size photograph, one to be fixed to the top right hand corner of first page of application at the appropriate box, duly signed and the additional one along with enclosures. 6. Persons working in Central/ State Govt., PSUs, Autonomous Bodies should submit their application through proper channel. Advance copies of application shall not be processed unless the original application is not received through proper channel.
General Instructions: 1. Only Date of Birth as indicated in the School Leaving Certificate shall be accepted. No subsequent change for change shall be granted. 2. Mere fulfilment of requirements as laid down in the advertisement do not entitle a candidate to be called for skill test / Interview. 3. Outstation ST candidates called for interview shall be paid to & fro Traveling Allowance in 2nd class / sleepers class railway fare by shortest route on production of tickets as per rule. Travel by road if conducted in State Carriers (non-AC) will be reimbursed on production of ticket. 4. However, TA to those ST candidates already in service in Central / State Govt., Central/ State Govt. Corporations, PSUs, Local Govt. institutions, and Panchayat and concessions availed from Railways, if any, for undertaking journey for attending shall not be admissible. 5. Candidates with outstanding track records, qualification and experience, relaxation of age limit may be considered by the Authority of the Institute. 6. Record of non-selected candidates shall not be preserved beyond 6 months from the date of formation of select list. 7. Canvassing in any form shall be considered as disqualification
Certificates to be furnished along with application: I. Self-attested copy towards proof of date of birth/ Age II. Self-attested valid Tribe Certificate issued by the Competent Authority in the prescribed format including Presidential Orders pertaining to the concerned state. III. Self-attested copies of certificates and mark sheets in support of education, technical qualification and experience issued by Competent Authority. IV. Discharge Certificate from Defence Service if applying under Ex-servicemen category. V. Any other certificate/testimonial pertaining to support candidature.
